About Artist
Sabine’s passion about our environment and future is her catalyst to create art that increases awareness & inspires thoughtful reflection about environmental issues and concerns.
Consistent to this central theme, she uses alternative materials and found objects in combination with re-used or recycled materials in many of her sculptures.
She is as inspired by the materials that she uses, as she is by the theme of her work.
By playing with form, texture and balance, she creates tension and movement in pieces that softly underline our responsibility to our environment.
Born in Canada, Sabine studied Fine Art at the University of Guelph in southern
Ontario. Since moving to the USA in 1998, she has been creating art from alternative
materials, sculpting with metal, wire, glass & concrete.
She designs, instructs and practices art in Michigan and Ontario, Canada.
“Sabine gives things new meaning and new life by using common objects in unusual ways.”

It is a sculpture project to increase awareness of 3-R: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle in Calhoun County by creating interactive sculpture from trash with students in grades K-12.
By installing these sculptures that students help to create on site at their schools,
offering sculpture tours and QR code identification system, we are linking several
communities in the county through art and recycling awareness.
Past Projects
Sabine has showcased her works in numerous exhibits in the U.S.A and Canada.
